Site Resource Search by Annotation Keyword or Accession

You can use the following query form to search for genes of interest by annotation keyword or accession number. Currently, annotated Solanaceae PUT sequences and genes from the model dicot species in the resource are indexed for searching.

Results for PUT sequences are linked to the gene overview pages for those PUTs, which link in available resources. Genes from the model genomes are linked to their respective genome browsers.

For keyword search, the search field accepts one or more keywords or keyword variants all of which will be required in the annotation text returned by the search. Note that a search on 'ribosome' will also return results containing the word 'ribosomal' and vice versa, but searching on 'ribos' will not return results unless the annotation were to contain the whole word 'ribos'.

Searching by accession will search on PUT IDs, PUT member EST GenBank accession or GI #, or primary model genome gene accessions.
