Potato RHPOTKEY BAC Sequencing
We have been funded by the NSF to participate in the Potato Genome Sequencing Consortium . We will end sequence the BACs in the RHPOTKEY library, sequence BACs on chromosome 6, annotate publicly available potato BAC sequences, and construct a web portal for potato breeders/researchers for the potato genome. We have completed all of the end sequencing of the RHPOTKEY library and the sequences can be searched and downloaded through links provided below. We are in the process of sequencing BACs from the library, our progress can be monitored here. All sequences are deposited into Genbank and the NCBI Trace Archive.
